Fees, Payments and Refunds

Course Costs

  1. 5 day "Site Specific" Course is $2200 including GST
  • pro rata for shorter courses.
  • Arrangements are required in advance to write course content.
  1. Competency Confirmation course - one day $1200.

We accept payment via cash, direct deposit, cheque and credit card.

Payment is required by completion of a course. NB: Certificates will not be issued until full payment is received. 

Refunds will be given minus an administration fee for any cancellations - see below.

If you have paid for a course in full but fail to show up to the course you will forfeit your course fee unless prior arrangement has been made.

If you or your company has a course credit, the credit is valid for 12 months unless other arrangements have been made - we will attempt to make all possible arrangements for placing you into another course at a time that suits.

Cancellation Policy and Changes to Bookings

The Cairns Centre for Drilling and Well Control understands that the industry is sometimes unpredictable and we will do everything we possibly can to accommodate participants in another course should they be required to remain on site or have a family/emergency situation arises. We have no problem transferring participants or payments to other course dates without penalty should you contact us as soon as you know of any changes to your circumstances.

Should you simply need to cancel any course and will not be relocating to another date then an administration fee of $200 per person may be charged to cover the course materials and administration costs of the booking.
